The Fight To Find The Disappeared In Restive Balochistan.
Life was always tough for Seema Baloch. As an ethnic Baluch woman, her family endured insecurity, neglect, and extreme poverty in their homeland in Pakistan's southwestern province of Balochistan.
But it was the sudden disappearance of her brother, Shabbir Baloch, two years ago that forced Seema to abandon her rural home in Balochistan's remote Turbat district and join the protests in Pakistan’s major cities.
Seema, in her 20s, and her sister-in-law, Zarina Baloch, have helped organize rallies on the bustling roads of the southern port city of Karachi. The family has knocked on the doors of courts, police stations, and a government office tasked with finding disappeared people.
But nothing helped to locate Shabbir, who was 24 when he was detained by the security forces in the town of Gwarkop in October 2016, according to global rights watchdog Amnesty International. In November Seema joined other Baluch families in a protest outside the press club in Quetta, the dusty teeming capital of Balochistan. Seema says she is on an indefinite hunger strike to force authorities to find or release her brother.
“Our family is devastated," she says. "Shabbir was the eldest among our siblings, and he was the hope of my parents. Now my elderly parents and his wife are broken without him.”
Seema's mother is bedridden with a protracted illness while her father has been hospitalized for surgery.
Zarina Baloch says her husband's only crime appears to be his role as a leader of the pro-separatist Baloch Students Organization (BSO Azad faction). "He was blindfolded and whisked away by force along with 26 other people," she said of his disappearance in 2016. "After a few days most of them were released, but Shabbir never returned."
Seema and Zarina's family is prominent among the relatives of alleged victims of enforced disappearances that are engaged in a new protest campaign to prompt authorities to locate disappeared persons in Balochistan, where thousands have died and disappeared amid a simmering separatist insurgency.

دی بلوچستان پوسٹ نیوز ڈیسک رپورٹ کے مطابق بلوچستان حکومت کی جانب سے تعلیمی ایمرجنسی کے اعلانات کے دعوؤں کے باوجود حکومت کے زیر نگرانی چلنے والے ایک ہزار 800 پرائمری، مڈل اور ہائی اسکولوں کے غیر فعال ہونے کا انکشاف ہوا ہے۔
محکمہ تعلیم کی حاصل
ہونے والی دستاویز میں انکشاف ہوا کہ اس وقت صوبے میں 2 ہزار 200 اسکولوں کی چھتیں ہی نہیں ہیں جبکہ 5 ہزار پرائمری اسکولز ایسے ہیں جہاں صرف ایک استاد موجود ہے ۔
صوبے میں پرائمری، مڈل اور ہائی اسکولوں کی کل تعداد 13 ہزار سے زائد ہے جبکہ صوبائی حکومت ہر بچے کو تعلیم کے زیور سے آراستہ کرنے کے لیے پہلے ہی ایمرجنسی اور آرٹیکل 25 ‘اے’ کے اطلاق کا اعلان کرچکی ہے تاہم اس کے باوجود بچوں کے بڑی تعداد اسکولوں سے باہر ہے ۔
سیکریٹری تعلیم بلوچستان طیب لہڑی نے میڈیا نمائندوں سے بات کرتے ہوئے بتایا کہ اس وقت 10 لاکھ سے زائد بچے اسکولوں سے باہر ہیں۔
انہوں نے دعویٰ کیا کہ صوبائی حکومت نے تعلیم کی صورتحال کو بہتر بنانے کے لیے مستقل طور پر غیر حاضر رہنے والے اور گھوسٹ اساتذہ کے خلاف کریک ڈاؤن کا آغاز کردیا ہے۔ہم 179 اساتذہ کو معطل کرچکے ہیں جبکہ 97 کے خلاف انکوائریوں کا حکم اور 82 کو شوکاز نوٹسز جاری کیے جاچکے ہیں۔
دستاویز سے مزید انکشاف ہوا کہ صوبائی محکمہ تعلیم گزشتہ تین سال کے دوران مستقل غیر حاضر رہنے والے اساتذہ کی تنخواہوں سے 14 کروڑ 10 لاکھ روپے سے زائد کی کٹوتی بھی کر چکا ہے ۔
بلوچستان میں تعلیمی نظام میں بہتری کے لیے صوبائی کابینہ پہلے ہی ‘بلوچستان ایجوکیشن ایسِنشل سروسز ایکٹ 2018’ منظور کر چکی ہے، جس کے تحت ٹیچرز پر ہڑتال کرنے، کلاس رومز کو لاک کرنے اور حقوق کے لیے اکسانے پر پابندی عائد کی گئی تھی تاہم اساتذہ نے حکومت کے اس اقدام کی پروزور مذمت کی اور اسے آئین اور بنیادی انسانی حقوق کی خلاف ورزی قرار دیا اساتذہ نے تعلیم کو لازمی سروس قرار دینے کا فیصلہ واپس لینے پر حکومت کو مجبور کرنے کے لیے احتجاجی مہم شروع کرنے کا بھی عندیہ دیا۔

Asad Umar was praising China-Pakistan nexus and ‘counting’ CPEC’s economic benefits when the Hardtalk show host Stephen Sackur reminded of attacks on CPEC related projects by Baloch fighters saying, ‘it is a little bit embarrassing that at the time you were taking delegate from more than twenty countries to look at the potential of all of these projects, gunmen shot dead three workers, injured five others and that was the fourth fatal shooting in the area in just a few short months. The security situation, the degree of insecurity around that region and the anger that I have referred to that is generated among some by what is happening that is a real threat to stability in Balochistan.
The Pakistan minister tried to brush away the embarrassment saying, ‘this not the anger of the Baloch of Balochistan, these activities of sponsored terrorists who receive training, funding and material funding from outside Pakistan and is there as serious attempt to destabilise Balochistan and through that try and subvert CPEC? Of course, there is. There is concerted effort to do that, so there no disagreement there.’
The BBC journalist interrupted him and asked about the external forces to which the Pakistani minister spew venom against India by saying, ‘Lead by India of course. So, is there a terrorist intervention in Balochistan? Absolutely yes, what the people of Balochistan thought, that has been expressed through the free will of those people by electing a government of Balochistan which stands by CPEC which wants greater engagement of CPEC in their province.’
It is pertinent to remind our readers that on 31 October 2018 armed men attacked the personnel of a construction company in Gunz area of Jiwani about 80km from the port city of Gwadar.
The deceased were reportedly working on a CPEC related housing scheme.
The spokesperson of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), Azad Baloch, had called media sources and accepted responsibility for Gwadar attack.
Azad Baloch had said that China and Pakistan were building around seventy (70) housing schemes under the exploitative China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project to colonise the Baloch land. ‘The site attacked today was part of CPEC project’, he added.
The BLA spokesperson had also said that Pakistan organised a conference of twenty-six countries in the name of ‘Asian Parliamentarian Assembly – APA’ in its attempt assert the legality of its illegal occupation in Balochistan.
‘Today’s attack is a clear message to China and all other countries that Balochistan is an occupied territory. We warn China to halt working on all the projects including a planned naval base in Jiwani Balochistan. The BLA will continue to resist against the occupation of Baloch Ocean and coastal belt, Azad Baloch said.
There is a growing anger against China-Pakistan nexus in Balochistan and the pro-freedom Baloch armed groups and political parties have often accused China of being complicit of Pakistan’s genocidal policies against Baloch people.
On the international level, all Baloch political parties including the Baloch National Movement, the Baloch Republican Party and the Free Balochistan Movement continue their peaceful protests against China in different countries. The Hyrbyair Marri led Free Balochistan Movement (FBM) has been at the forefront of campaigning against China’s exploitative policies in Balochistan. It has organised at least two – one-week – sit-in protest against China in London and simultaneous co-ordinated world-wide protests in America, Germany, Canada, Netherlands and other countries.

A Rahman titled "Human Rights Obligations" the article of learned author and champion of human rights reveals that in one way or another Pakistan is an Irresponsible country, in particular, does not bother whatsoever it made commitments with the members states of United Nations.The UN working group reiterated its previous calls that the crime of enforced disappearance be expressly included in Pakistan's criminal code. This is deplorable as Pakistan had accepted a recommendation made during its, 2012 Universal Periodic Review to make the seriousness of the crimes do not communicate.But regrettably Pakistan has not fulfilled its pledged commitment. In previous year it made commitments but none was fulfilled by it,which reveals its immaturity and irresponsibility among the civilised countries.It would not be out of place to mention here that Pakistan is totally ignoring those Human rights which are enshrined in its constitution, and the international instruments which it has ratified and singed, notable examples are International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, Convention against Torture and other Cruel, Inhumane or Degrading Treatment or Punishment. And so forth and so on. Whereas during ratifying the aforesaid international instruments Pakistan as a state party has ensured the international states community it is bound to protect and promote all those rights which are enshrined, in the instruments, in its territory. As we observed that the most vulnerable individual and members of the nationalities are being deprived and abridged from their inherent human rights and dignity . To proceed for implementation of laws related with fundament rights for better future of men and nation the members of parliament and provincial assemblies of the state have to play vital and positive role for the Protection and promotion of civil liberties and they are required to feel necessity to incorporate the provisions of the international instruments in constitution or separately to legislate in the interest of their peoples. It's ironic in the political entrenched culture of Pakistan the parliamentarians often selected through manipulation of the security establishment, conditionally that parliamentarians will protect and promote the interests of the security establishment, instead of people, which tentamounts to put the cart before the horse.In the same vain of thinking, the judiciary is deviating from its constitutional obligations, precisely because according to settled principle of constitutionalism, it's the judiciary to jealousy safeguard and protect the fundamental rights and basic freedoms of the citizens, which are enshrined in the constitution.
Generally speaking is that the fundamental rights and basic freedoms are enshrined in the constitution of Pakistan, but the judiciary due to fears, and its personal interest and gains, and lack of commitment is totally failed to enforce the related provisions of the constitution in accordance with its mandate.
Prima fecie Pakistan is a security and strocrat state, there is no Supremacy of constitution, rule of law and independence of judiciary. Ipso facto all organs of the state are subordinate to security establishment, each head of organ of state are wanted to please the security establishment including parliament and judiciary (prime Minister and Chief Justice) of the country, which is absolutely against the norms and spirit of the parliamentary democracy.
It is now high time the intelligentsia , jurists, lawyers, and politicians have courageously, honestly and frankly inform and tell the world community, especially to UNO that Pakistan to be declared as a strocrat Country and to be included in the list of astrocracy instead of democracy. To call Pakistan a democratic country it is mockery with democracy.

Campaign for Zakir Majeed’s release enters 10th year
Nine years of protests and campaign for the missing Zakir Majeed
Today marked the 9 years of Zakir Majeed’s absence among his people, as he was abducted by the personnel of Pakistan’s secret agencies on this day in 2009.
Baloch community in Balochistan and Baloch diaspora are recording their protest for the Baloch missing persons and against the abduction of Zakir Majeed — A young student leader.
Zakir Majeed Baloch was the Senior Vice Chairman of a student organisation —BSO-Azad—when he was picked up forcibly by the personnel of Pakistani intelligence agencies from Mastung town of Balochistan on 8th June 2009.
BSO-Azad has since announced to observe 8th June as the day of all Baloch Missing Persons.
According to TBP social media desk, Baloch social media activists are running a campaign using the hashtag #BalochMissingPersonsDay. The hashtag is being used by several rights activists too.
Rights organisation accuse Pakistani Army of picking up Baloch activists and subjecting them to severe torture.

سینئیر سیاستدان اور عوامی تحریک کے بانی رسول بخش پلیجو طویل علالت کے بعد 88 برس کی عمر میں انتقال کرگئے۔
ترجمان عوامی تحریک کے مطابق رسول بخش پلیجو طویل عرصے سے علیل تھے، انہیں سانس، دل اور سینے میں تکلیف کی شکایت تھی۔
انتقال کے وقت وہ کلفٹن میں واقع نجی اسپتال میں زیر علاج تھے۔
ترجمان عوامی تحریک کے مطابق رسول بخش پلیجو کی میت کو تدفین کے لیے ان کے آبائی علاقے جنگ شاہی لے جایا جائے گا، ان کی نماز جنازہ اور تدفین جمعے کو ہوگی۔
رسول بخش پلیجو کون تھے؟
رسول بخش پلیجو 21 فروری 1930 کو جنگ شاہی، ٹھٹھہ میں پیدا ہوئے۔
انہوں نے ابتدائی تعلیم اپنے آبائی علاقے اور سیکنڈری تعلیم سندھ مدرستہ الاسلام کراچی سے حاصل کی، بعدازاں انہوں نے سندھ لاء کالج سے گریجویشن کی اور سپریم کورٹ میں وکیل کی حیثیت سے بھی خدمات سرانجام دیں۔
رسول بخش پلیجو نے ون یونٹ کے خاتمے اور بحالی جمہوریت تحریک میں سرگرم کردار ادا کرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ سندھ میں پہلی بار خواتین کو سیاست میں منظم کیا۔
رسول بخش پلیجو نے سیاسی زندگی کے تقریباً 11 سال مختلف جیلوں میں گزارے، کوٹ لکھپت جیل میں قید کے دوران انہوں نے ایک ڈائری بھی لکھی، جو سندھی زبان میں بہت مقبول کتاب رہی۔
رسول بخش پلیجو نے سندھی زبان میں 26 کتابیں بھی لکھیں، ان کی کتابیں ‘رسول بخش پلیجو کی مکمل تحریریں’ کے نام سے تین جلدوں میں شائع کی گئیں۔. Awami Tehreek Chief and senior politician Rasool Bux Palijo passed away early Thursday morning at Karachi’s South City Hospital.
The 88-year-old renowned scholar had been hospitalised for pneumonia. He was also receiving treatment for cardiac and respiratory issues. Palijo’s body will be move to his native village Mungar Khan Palijo near Jungshahi in Thatta for his last rites and burial.
A human rights lawyer and Sindh leftist leader, Palijo founded Sindh Awami Tehreek in the 1970s before it was renamed to Awami Tehreek. Although he started his political career from “Hari Tehreek” – a movement for the rights of peasants in 1953. He then joined the National Awami Party, a major progressive political party in East and West Pakistan in 1964 but parted ways with it over not giving importance to national issues.

Security Forces whisk away trader from Karachi
Family sources of a missing Baloch trader have alleged that he has been arrested and taken away by plain clothed personnel of Pakistani secret services.
According to the details received by The Baochistan Post, Qazi Jan Mohammad Kalmati went missing after plain clothed persons posing as business colleagues of the missing men took him away in cars used by security forces personnel.
On 31 May 2018, men in four cars asked for Mr. Kalmati at his residence, as they claimed, they wanted to settle a business issue. Mr. Kalmati was at his second house at the time, where the men were subsequently taken by a local kid. A police car was also accompanying the alleged kidnappers.
Mr. Kalmati met the men and was forced into one of the vehicles, as claimed by family.
He not been seen since then.
The family members have alleged that the cars and guns the men were carrying resembled those of Pakistani security forces.
The family sources have confirmed that Mr. Kalmati is not a member of any political organisations and he has not been involved in any political activities.
It is pertinent to mention that Mr. Kalmati is younger brother of Qazi Dad Rehan, the former Information Secretary of Baloch National Movement. Many believe Mr. Kalmati has been abducted to pressurize his brother.
In Balochistan, the campaign groups claim, tens of thousands of persons have gone missing since the armed struggle for a ‘Free Balochistan’ started in early 2000s. Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International have accused Pakistani security forces of being behind these ‘abductions’.

دی بلوچستان پوسٹ ویب ڈیسک کو موصول ہونے والی اطلاعات کے مطابق گوادر کے معروف علمی و سیاسی گھرانے سے تعلق رکھنے والے قاضی جان محمد کلمتی کو 31 مئی 2018 کو ان کے گھر واقع ملیر پیرا ڈائز کراچی سے سادہ لباس افراد اپنے ہمراہ لے گئیں.
خاندانی ذرائع سے موصول ہونیوالی تفصیلات کے مطابق قاضی جان کو 31 مئی بروز جمعرات سادہ لباس مسلح افراد ایک مقامی ٹھیکہ دار کی رہنمائی میں ان کے کرایہ کے گھر ملیر پیرا ڈائز فیز ٹو میں ان کا پوچھنے گئے۔ اہل خانہ کوانہوں نے باور کرایا کہ وہ ان کے خرید کردہ زمینوں کے سلسلے میں ان سے پوچھ گچھ کرنا چاہتے ہیں۔ وہاں عدم موجودگی کی صورت وہ ایک بچے کی رہنمائی میں ان کے ملیر پیرا ڈائز فیز وَن میں واقع دوسرے گھر میں پہنچے اور وہاں سے انہیں بلا کر اپنے ساتھ پولیس کی گاڑی میں بیٹھا کر لے گئے۔ ان کہنا ہے کہ مسلح اغواء کار چار گاڑیوں پر گئے تھے جن میں ایک پولیس موبائل بھی شامل تھی۔
خاندانی ذرائع کے مطابق انہوں نے اس سلسلے میں فوری طور پر متعلقہ اداروں، متعلقہ تھانے اور موثرین سے رابطہ کیا اور مدد کی درخواست کی لیکن پانچ دن گزرنے کے باوجود تمام تر کوششیں لاحاصل رہے، اس لیے خاندان نے فیصلہ کیا ہے کہ وہ اپنے خاندان کے فرد کی بازیابی کے لیے تمام تر ذرائع بروئے کار لائیں گے جن میں میڈیا کے توسط سے انسانی حقوق کے اداروں، اعلیٰ عدلیہ اور قانون نافذ کرنے والے افسران تک اپنی فریاد پہنچائی جائے گی۔
خاندانی ذرائع نے مزید بتایا کہ روایتی میڈیا کے ان واقعات کی خبروں کو کورریج دینے میں خوفزدگی کے پیش نظر خاندان نے سوشل میڈیا کے ذریعے بھی ان کی بازیابی کے لیے آواز اُٹھانے کا فیصلہ کیا۔ اس سلسلے میں تمام انسانیت دوست تنظیموں، سیاسی جماعتوں ، لکھاریوں اور سوشل میڈیا ایکٹیوسٹ سے درخواست ہے کہ وہ اس سلسلے میں خاندان کی آواز کے ساتھ اپنی آواز ملائیں اور معاشرے کے ایک تعمیری فرد کی بحفاظت معاشرے میں واپسی کو یقینی بنانے میں اپنا کردار ادا کریں۔

In the last 15 years Pakistan Army received 33 billion Dollar from US alone in the war against terror. Over 60,000 thousands innocents Pashtuns lost their lives. Hundreds of billion dollar lost to economy and the social and cultural dimensions of Pashtun society has dramatically changed due several military operations.
Where ever Pakistan military was going to conduct the military operation, like the recent Operation Zarb-e-Azb which started in June 2014, the military would inform millions of residents over night that they have to leave their homes as the military offensive operation is going to take place in the area. over 3.5 million people become refugees. These people saw their homes, schools, hospitals, and even the worship places destroyed by army in a bit to clear the area from terrorists.
The killing of this young Political Secretary, Hamidullah Khan Wazir last night in South Waziristan arises the questions that after all these loses why Pakistan Army failed to provide peace and why their good Taliban are again active.
In the last 4 months, Pashtun Tahafuz Movement revealed the true face of Pakistan army and showed to the world that army has not only invested the 33 billion dollar in their own properties and luxuries but also grown a new cadet of terrorists while the leading terrorists are still in the safe hands of Pakistan army like they safeguard Osama bin Ladan near the army headquarter in Abbottabad.

The largest pro-freedom party of Balochistan the Baloch National Movement (BNM) and the largest student organisation Baloch students Organisation – Azad (BSO-Azad) have categorically rejected Pakistan’s so called general elections. The reason and logic behind this strong decision is that, in Pakistan there is no democracy, all powers are held by the GHQ, political parties are not free to campaign and advocate for their rights, elections have been always influenced by the powerful army, whereas voters are not free to vote by their own choice. Pakistani Establishment can make somebody a chief minister of Balochistan who could only accumulate 552 votes. Similarly, somebody who never had any public profile can become chairman of Pakistani Senate with a jiff.
There is a reason and a long history behind Balochistan’s distrust on Pakistani systems. There are several historical facts which make us believe that, the elections under Pakistani regime are just a farce to show the world that, a democratic process has been exercised in the country. Baloch have unpleasant experience with the Pakistani parliamentary system. The government of National Awami Party (NAP) in Balochistan was overthrown and the top leadership were sent to the different jails of the country in 1970s by Bhutto regime. It was the first elected government of Balochistan, the Baloch nation came to the polling stations with hope and casted their vote to decide their own future and form a government of their own. But Pakistani establishment didn’t respect the will of people as it has always wanted to form governments of their own choice rather than one that is chosen by the people.
Baloch political organizations that are struggling for a free and democratic Balochistan can never be against the parliamentary system of politics or against any democratic process. The demands of Baloch nationalists are all about democracy and equality so there can be no reason why they would oppose any such system. However, they oppose the current form of parliamentary politics that is carried out under Pakistani framework. Balochistan was occupied at the might of the gun and any system that is imposed upon Baloch without the restoration of Balochistan’s sovereignty does not adhere to any lawful and ethical rationale. Additionally, only those candidates reach the parliament who have been approved by the Pakistani Army. It will not be wrong to say that in Pakistan selections are carried out not that the elections are held.

Baloch political organizations that are struggling for a free and democratic Balochistan can never be against the parliamentary system of politics or against any democratic process. The demands of Baloch nationalists are all about democracy and equality so there can be no reason why they would oppose any such system. However, they oppose the current form of parliamentary politics that is carried out under Pakistani framework. Balochistan was occupied at the might of the gun and any system that is imposed upon Baloch without the restoration of Balochistan’s sovereignty does not adhere to any lawful and ethical rationale. Additionally, only those candidates reach the parliament who have been approved by the Pakistani Army. It will not be wrong to say that in Pakistan selections are carried out not that the elections are held.

The rally started from the old (Sindh University) campus locality and culminated outside the local press club, where the 72-hour hunger strike observed under the auspices of the YAC ended on Saturday evening.
Organisers of the rally, Women Action Forum (WAF) activist Amar Sindhu, Jami Chandio and others, spoke to the participants and demanded an end to the alleged enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killing of such activists. Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) leader Dr Ashothama also took part in the rally.
The participants called for producing all “victims of enforced disappearance” in courts of law irrespective of their ethnic and political affiliation. They said that the missing persons should be provide an opportunity to explain their position.Leaders of the protesters stressed that cases of extrajudicial killing must be investigated fairly by those persons whose integrity was beyond reproach. They also called for implementing recommendations of the apex court regarding missing persons.

بلوچ نیشنل موومنٹ کی مرکزی ترجمان نے اپنے جاری کردہ بیان میں پاکستانی عسکری اداروں کی وائس فار مسنگ پرسنز آف سندھ کے کیمپ پر حملے کی شدید الفاظ میں مذمت کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ پاکستان جیسے شدت پسند ریاست مظلوم عوام کی پر امن جدوجہد کو بھی برداشت نہیں کرتی ہے۔ پاکستان کی سندھ دھرتی پر قبضہ ، سندھی قوم کی نسل کشی، وسائل کی لوٹ گھسوٹ ، سندھی ثقافت پر یلغار کے بعد اب سندھی مائیں ، بہنیں پاکستانی خفیہ جیلوں میں قید اپنے پیاروں کی بازیابی کے لیے آوازاْٹھارہے ہیں ، انتہا پسند ریاست کے عسکری ادارے ان معصوم آوازوں کو دبانے کے لیے بھی طاقت کا استعمال کررہے ہیں۔ پاکستان اپنے انتہاپسندانہ نظریے کے بنیاد پر مظلوم بلوچ، سندھی، پختونوں کی نہ صرف زمین پر قابض ہے بلکہ ان اقوام کی نسل کشی کرکے ان کو نیست و نابود کرنے کی بھی کوشش کررہا ہے۔
ترجمان نے کہا کہ آج بلوچ ، سندھی ، پختون اور مہاجر مسنگ پرنسز کا مسئلہ اس خطے کا سب سے بڑا مسئلہ ہے۔ ہزاروں کی تعداد میں بلوچ ، سندھی ، پختون اور مہاجر قوم کے نوجوان پاکستان کے خفیہ جیلوں میں قید ہے ،ہزاروں مسنگ پرسنز کی مسخ شدہ لاشیں بھی برآمد ہوئی ہیں۔ ہزاروں گھروں کے چراغ بھجا دیے گئے ہیں ، ہزاروں مائیں، بہنیں اپنے پیاروں کی راہ تھکتے رہتے ہیں لیکن اب پاکستان اپنے پیاروں کے غم میں نڈھال بوڑھی ماؤں اور معصوم بہنوں پر بھی اپنی طاقت کا استعمال کررہا ہے۔ پاکستان ان اقوام پر اپنی حکمرانی کو طویل دینے کے لیے اپنے خلاف اَٹھنے والے آوازوں کو طاقت کے ذریعے دبارہا ہے ،لیکن انقلابی تاریخ سے نابلد پاکستان اس بات کو سمجھنے سے قاصر ہے کہ ان آوازوں کو دبانے سے یہ دب نہیں جاتے بلکہ مزید قوت کے ساتھ سر اْٹھاتے ہیں آج بلوچ قومی آزادی کی جدوجہد زندہ مثال ہے گذشتہ ستر سالوں سے پاکستان اپنی تمام تر طاقت و حربوں کو استعمال کرنے کے باوجود بلوچ قومی آزادی کی جدوجہد کو ختم نہیں کرسکا ہے۔ پاکستان جس طرح بلوچ ، سندھی اور پختونوں پر مظالم کررہا ہے اس کے ردعمل میں بلوچ ، سندھی اور پختونوں کی جدوجہد مزید قوت کے ساتھ ابھر رہا ہے۔
ترجمان نے مزید کہا کہ اپنے قومی حقوق اور پاکستانی مظالم کے خلاف سندھی اور پختونوں کی جانب سے آواز اْٹھانا انتہائی نیک شگون ہے۔ آج وقت اور حالات کے تقاضے یہی ہے کہ پاکستانی جبر کے شکار محکوم اقوام مزید قوت کے ساتھ اپنی آواز اْٹھائے اور مشترکہ دشمن کے خلاف اپنی صفوں میں ہم آہنگی پیدا کریں۔بلوچ ، پختون اور سندھی اقوام کو ماضی کے تمام تجربات کو سامنے رکھنا چاہیے کیونکہ پاکستان محکوم اقوام کی جدوجہد کو کاوئنٹر کرنے کے لیے اپنے پیدا کردہ مذہبی ، سیاسی اور قبائلی گماشتوں کو استعمال میں لاتا ہے۔

ہمارے شہید قائد واجہ غلام محمد بلوچ ایک کامل، عظیم الشان انسان اور باوقار و دلیر رہنما تھے۔ واجہ شہید قائد کبھی تاویلیں پیش نہیں کرتے، بہانے بازیاں نہیں کیں، ان کا ہر اقدام بلوچ قومی آزادی کو مستحکم کرتا رہا۔ تاریخ رقم کرنے والے ہمارے اس عظیم قائد نے دن رات ایک کردیئے۔ ان کا جوش و جذبہ اتنا ولولہ انگیز تھا، جس نے تحریک کو بام عروج تک پہنچادیا۔ شہید قائد کی کرشماتی شخصیت انہیں بلوچ قوم کے دلوں کا دھڑکن بنادیا۔ تاریخ میں پہلی بار قدرت نے بلوچ قوم کو ایک ایسا رہنما فراہم کیا جو خود بھی عام عوام سے ابھر کر سامنے آیا تھا۔ واجہ شہید قائد کوئی سردار و نواب نہیں تھے، اسی لیئے بلوچ قوم کے درد و دکھ کو بہت زیادہ جانتے تھے اور محسوس کرتے تھے۔ واجہ شہید قائد کی شبانہ روز جدجہد نے تھوڑے ہی عرصے میں بلوچ قومی آزادی کی تحریک کے ہر فرت کو ایک ہی لڑی میں پرو دیا۔ بلوچ نیشنل فرنٹ کو تشکیل دیکر تمام آزادی پسند پارٹیوں کو ایک ہی پلیٹ فارم پر یکجا کیا۔ شہید قائد کی یہ آرزو تھی کہ بلوچ نیشنل فرنٹ آگے چل کر ایک سنگل ماس پارٹی کی شکل اختیار کرے، یہ تھے ہمارے شہید قائد جو تحریک کو ٹکڑیوں میں نہیں بانٹنا چاہتے تھے، بلکہ تحریک کی مظبوطی چاہتے تھے۔ واجہ شہید قائد تنقید کو خندہ پیشانی سے قبول کرتے تھے اور کارکنوں پر زور دیتے تھے کہ سوالات کریں۔ سوالات و تنقید کے بغیر تحریک میں نیا پن پیدا نہیں ہوگا۔ حتیٰ کہ بعض اوقات واجہ شہید کے ذات پر بھی تنقید ہوتی اور ہمارے قائد اپنی خوبصورت مسکراہٹ کے ساتھ تنقید سہہ جاتے تھے۔ آپ نے کبھی بھی تحریک سے وابسطہ کسی بھی شخص کو غدار اور دشمن کا خطاب نہیں دیا۔
آیئے ایک اور عظیم ہستی کی طرف اور یہ ہستی ہیں معلم آزادی واجہ شہید قندیل( استاد صباء دشتیاری) جو تحریک آزادی کے یونیورسٹی تھے۔ شہید استاد نے تحریک آزادی میں عملی کردار ادا کرکے نام نہاد دانشوروں کی دھجیاں اڑادیں۔ یہ نام نہاد دانشور تاویلیں پیش کرتے ہیں کہ ادیبوں اور دانشوروں کا سیاست سے کیا کام۔ دراصل یہ بات کرتے ہوئے بھی وہ سیاست کررہے ہوتے ہیں لیکن ان جاہلوں کو اس بات کا ادراک نہیں ہوتا۔ عظیم استاد اکثر یہ کہا کرتے تھے کہ “میری قوم حالتِ جنگ میں ہے اور میں بیٹھکر شعر و شاعری کی محفلیں سجاؤں یہ مجھ سے نہیں ہوسکتا۔” عظیم استاد نے اپنی جان کا نذرانہ دیکر ان منافقوں کے منہ پر زور دار طمانچہ رسید کردیا، جو خود کو بڑے زبان دوست اور بلوچی زبان کے اسکالر کہتے اور باتیں ایسے کرتے جیسے ساری قوم کا درد ان ہی کے دل میں ہے، لیکن عمل کا وقت آتا ہے تو بھاگ جاتے اور بہانے بازیاں کرتے ہیں۔ ان نام نہاد دانشوروں کو یہ تک معلوم نہیں کہ عظیم استاد نے شعوری طور پر تحریک میں شامل ہوکر اپنا قومی اور تاریخی فرض ادا کردیا اور تاریخ میں امر ہوگئے۔

More than 70 People dead on KarAchi Heatstroke . Very hot weather .
As temperatures soar, at least 65 people have died in different areas of Karachi from heatstroke, Faisal Edhi of the Edhi Foundation told DawnNews TV on Monday.
According to Faisal, 114 bodies were brought to the Edhi Foundation's morgues in Karachi's Korangi and Sohrab Goth areas in the past three days, out of which at least 65 had died from heatstroke. Most of the citizens who died from heatstroke were residents of Landhi and Korangi, Faisal said.
He added that most heatstroke victims had died at their home. The ages of people who succumbed to the ongoing heatwave in Karachi varied from six to 78 years, he said."People did not get medical help on time, which resulted in their death," he said.
Highlighting the magnitude of the crisis caused by the severe heat, Faisal said that the morgue in Korangi receives around 10-11 bodies per day. However, since Saturday evening, the morgue had received 34 bodies, while the morgue in Sohrab Goth had received 30 bodies.
Most of the victims, Faisal told DawnNews TV, had expired while going about doing daily chores.
Attempts to independently verify Faisal Edhi's claims proved inconclusive, as some of the families who lost their loved ones attributed the deaths to pre-existing ailments or other causes while hospital sources declined to comment.
However, Sindh Health Secretary Dr Fazlullah Pechuho rejected the notion that any of the deceased died due to heat stroke in Karachi.
“Only doctors and hospitals can decide whether the cause of death was heat stroke or not. I categorically reject that people have died due to heat stroke in Karachi, Dr Pechuho said.
Hospitals in Karachi have not received a single heat stroke patient during the last three days, the health secretary said.
Temperatures in excess of 40 degrees Celsius are expected to persist in Karachi until May 23 as the city swelters in the grip of a heatwave.
On Sunday, the Pakistan Meteorological Department issued an alert for the city, saying that "hot to very hot weather is likely to prevail in Karachi". A maximum temperature of 44˚C was recorded at 3pm in the city the same day.
