The state of Pakistan is currently carrying out a ruthless operation in Sindh. In the last three weeks, scores of Sindhi political

workers forced abducted by state agencies. The agencies second-time kidnapped Aaqib Chandio, who was previously missing for 15 months from May 2018 to Sep 2019. In all these abductions, brutal force, humiliation, and violence remain a hallmark, particularly against the women and elderly. We believe that the state of Pakistan wants to pre-empt the political struggle against the unprecedented attack on the historical, economic, political, and human rights of Sindhi people.

World Sindh Congress (WSC) strongly condemn these atrocities intended to create fear and trauma in the Sindhi society not to raise voice for their rights and survival. WSC is worried that the situation would further worsen due to the compounding failures of the state. We request all political and civil society organizations to raise their voice and launch an effective struggle before it engulfs all. WSC will raise this matter with the international community for the protection of the rights of Sindhi people.
